I'm sure you've been there: You're getting ready to play a game on your Xbox One, and you realize that the Volume isn't loud enough. You can do this two ways: go into the console's settings menu and change it, or press a button before loading up the game.

To turn up the Volume on your headset, you must start by selecting System. This can be done by pressing the Xbox button on your controller or using voice commands by saying "Xbox" followed by "System."
Once you have selected 'System,' press the 'A' button to open the guide menu and select 'Settings' from there.
To turn up your headset volume on the Xbox One, you'll need to follow these steps:
Press the Xbox button on your controller.
Select Settings from the following menu.
Select System from this next menu.
Select Display and Sound from that menu.
Scroll down until you see Volume, then select it by pressing A

Press the Xbox button on your controller to open the guide.
Select Settings > Display & sound > Volume mixer.
You can change the Volume of your headset by selecting Volume from the Settings menu. If you want to turn up the Volume of your controller, hold down on the left directional pad for two seconds and then press Up to increase or Down to decrease.
Under App volume and device preferences, select Party chat output
Under App volume and device preferences, select Party chats output. This should increase the Volume of your headset.
The party chat output is the Volume of your headset.
The app volume is the Volume of the game you are playing. This can be adjusted in settings under 'game' and through your controller during gameplay.
Under Output to Headphones, select All audio.
Go to Settings, then Sound.
Select Party chat output and choose All audio.
You can change it in your settings menu.
You can go to Settings > Devices > Audio Devices to change your headset volume.
If a specific device is highlighted, select it and then use the left stick on your controller to scroll down until you find "Headset Volume." Adjust this slider until you reach the desired volume level.
It's easy to adjust your Volume on the Xbox One. You can even make changes from the menu, which is great when you're playing a game or doing something else and don't want to interrupt your flow. It may take some time to get used to hearing everything in stereo, but eventually, you should be able to adjust just like before!
